Registered Behavior Technician -

  • Pay: $19-21 per hour (BOE)
  • Monday - Friday (40 hours weekly based on individuals served needs/range from 8 am - 6 pm)

As a Registered Behavior Technician you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals receiving support. We are committed to providing high-quality evidence-based services grounded in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Person Centered Thinking (PCT). This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about behavioral health and person-centered care to grow professionally within a supportive and collaborative environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work collaboratively under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavioral support plans and skill acquisition strategies.
  • Collect and record accurate real-time data on behavior reduction and skill acquisition targets during each session to track progress effectively.
  • Ensure timely completion of service documentation within 24 hours using our designated electronic system.
  • Seek guidance and clarification from your supervising BCBA to enhance service delivery.
  • Embrace feedback and adjust strategies to uphold the highest service delivery standards.
  • Create and maintain a safe supportive and inclusive environment for all individuals receiving services.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Experience working with individuals diagnosed with an intellectual or developmental disability is preferred but not required
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) credentials or proof of enrollment in RBT training coursework
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid Tennessee drivers license with a good driving record
  • Ability to work flexible hours including occasional after-hours shifts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate documentation

KEY BEHAVIORS/QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Confidentiality is required - confidentiality agreement signed upon hiring.
  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligibility for certification.
  • Strong understanding of BACB guidelines ethical standards and person-centered practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact sensitively with diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated sound judgment and ethical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity.
  • Prior experience in behavior analysis or related fields is preferred.
  • Commitment to ongoing learning including required RBT training and professional development opportunities to maintain certification and enhance practice.
