In This Role You Will
- Provide primary care services to pediatric adult and geriatric patients
- Conduct physical exams review medical histories and create treatment plans
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Prescribe medications and therapies in collaboration with physicians
- Order and interpret labs EKGs X-rays and other diagnostic testing
- Educate patients on preventative care wellness nutrition family planning and disease management
- Perform common office procedures including:
- Immunizations
- Injections
- Suturing
- Wound care
- Partner with physicians medical assistants and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
- Communicate confidently and compassionately with patients in both English and Spanish
Requirements
What Were Looking For
- Licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Illinois
- Masters Degree in Nursing Physician Assistant Studies or related field
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- 25 years of experience in Primary Care or Pediatrics preferred
- Comfortable working in a high-volume fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills
- Passion for preventative medicine and patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A team player who thrives in a collaborative setting
