Job Summary
- Food Preparation: Executes recipes cooks dishes and ensures consistent taste and presentation.
- Artistic & Technical Skills: Proficiency in various techniques (piping fondant work airbrushing edible images) color matching and creating unique Western pastry designs
- Hygiene: Valid food handlers permit and strict adherence to health/safety standards.
- Soft Skills: Creativity attention to detail time management communication and customer services.
- Physical status: Ability to stand for long periods and work under pressure.
Requirements
- Experience: Prior experience in a commercial setting often with a strong portfolio.
- Education (Optional but helpful): Vocational Diploma or certificate in baking/pastry arts
- Responsibilities: Executing cake designs using various mediums (buttercream fruit). Collaborating with direct supervisors on designs and fulfilling orders.
- Maintaining a clean organized workstation and equipment.
