Job Summary
Role Overview
We are seeking a senior candidate at Senior Executive / Assistant Manager level who can take ownership of accounting functions and contribute to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full sets of accounts including AR AP GL and month-end/year-end closing
- Prepare financial statements reports and schedules in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations
- Supervise / guide 12 team members including task delegation and review
- Work closely with internal stakeholders on financial matters
- Support audits tax submissions and reporting requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls especially related to inventory control
Requirements
- Proven experience in handling full sets of accounts
- Prior experience in leading or supervising small teams (12 staff)
- Strong understanding of ERP/accounting systems with ability to improve processes (especially inventory-related workflows)
- Good analytical problem-solving and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting Finance or related field with at least 5 years of related working experience.
- Experience in trading retail or distribution environment is an advantage
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle or similar)

9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
