About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Controller to lead improvements in our accounting operations. This individual will champion automation elevate technical accounting expertise and implement structured tracking systems to bring clarity and efficiency to the close process.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee automation of close procedures targeting a 7-day average close cycle
- Act as the subject matter expert on technical accounting issues
- Research complex accounting areas and provide actionable guidance
- Design and maintain a comprehensive project management tool for close tracking
- Build strong client relationships managing 3 clients by Year 1

Required Skills:
Qualifications Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience including Controller-level responsibility. Strong technical accounting expertise and GAAP knowledge. Proven experience improving and accelerating close processes. Demonstrated leadership organizational and analytical skills. CPA preferred. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who excels at driving efficiency implementing structure and leading complex accounting operations.
