About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager who will lead technical accounting initiatives drive automation across the close process and establish scalable financial operations. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance hands-on accounting work with process improvement and team coordination.
Required Experience:
Candidates must have prior experience working with a top-tier accounting firm such as
Deloitte PwC (PricewaterhouseCoopers) EY (Ernst & Young) KPMG BDO International RSM International Grant Thornton International Baker Tilly International Mazars or Crowe Global.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize the month-end close process with a target turnaround of 7 days
- Drive automation initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce manual work
- Serve as the subject matter expert for complex technical accounting matters
- Research interpret and apply accounting standards to real-world scenarios
- Design and maintain a centralized project management tracker for financial operations
- Provide real-time visibility into close progress responsibilities and deadlines
- Manage client relationships and ensure high-quality delivery of accounting services
- Oversee and support multiple client accounts with a goal of managing up to 3 clients within the first year

Required Skills:
Qualifications Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience including Controller-level responsibility. Strong technical accounting expertise and GAAP knowledge. Proven experience improving and accelerating close processes. Demonstrated leadership organizational and analytical skills. CPA preferred. This role is ideal for a seasoned accounting professional who excels at driving efficiency implementing structure and leading complex accounting operations.
