We are looking for a creative proactive and highly responsive NYSC corps member to support the digital presence of our brand across multiple platforms.
The Social Media & Community Coordinator will be responsible for managing social media platforms creating engaging content and supporting the growth of our online communities around HR consulting professional training and career development programs.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys content creation digital storytelling and building online communities.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage and update social media accounts (LinkedIn Instagram and others)
- Plan and publish posts consistently across platforms
- Monitor messages and comments and respond or escalate where necessary
Content Creation
- Create engaging social media content including graphics carousels and promotional materials using Canva
- Create short-form videos and Reels using tools like CapCut
- Assist in capturing content during trainings events and speaking engagements
- Turn photos videos and insights into engaging posts
Community Coordination
- Support the management of online communities and groups
- Share updates announcements and reminders within communities
- Monitor engagement and support audience interaction
Campaign Promotion
- Support promotion of upcoming trainings programs and events
- Assist with digital campaigns and program announcements
- Maintain a simple content calendar to track upcoming posts
Requirements
Currently serving NYSC (posted to Lagos)
Degree in Mass Communication Marketing Business Administration or a related field (preferred)
Strong written communication skills
Ability to create social media graphics using Canva
Ability to create Reels and short videos using CapCut or similar tools
Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to support content creation
Basic understanding of LinkedIn and Instagram content
Organized responsive and able to meet deadlines
