A dynamic and hands-on General Logistics Assistant is required to support daily operational logistics with a strong focus on preparing game drive vehicles and maintaining equipment and operational areas.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Activities Coordinator to ensure vehicles are stocked with the necessary food beverages and addition the role supports the Vehicle Fleet Manager by ensuring that all tools equipment and the vehicle depot are well-maintained organized and ready for daily use.
This is a practical physically active role suited to an individual who is adaptable and willing to assist across multiple departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with loading food beverages and supplies onto game drive vehicles
- Ensure vehicles are fully equipped and prepared prior to scheduled activities
- Assist with unloading and organizing equipment after activities
- Support general logistical and operational tasks within the vehicle depot
- Ensure tools compressors power washers and other equipment are functional and well-organized
- Monitor equipment condition and report any faults or maintenance needs
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle depot and work areas
- Assist with moving equipment and supplies between operational areas
- Provide general support to the activities and events teams when required
- Ensure all equipment and workspaces are consistently kept in a ready-to-use condition
Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Previous experience in logistics operations or maintenance support roles
- Ability to perform manual tasks such as lifting loading and organizing equipment
- Strong sense of responsibility and reliability
- Ability to work in a remote environment
- Willingness to work early mornings and late afternoons in line with operational schedules
Advantageous Skills
- Experience in hospitality lodge or farm environments
- Basic mechanical or maintenance knowledge
- Experience working with tools equipment or logistical operations
- Candidates with a guiding background will also be considered
