Job Summary
Senior Field Guides Conservation Reserve Free State
A well-established private conservation reserve in the Free State is seeking passionate and professional Senior Field Guides to join its dynamic lodge team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences while contributing to meaningful conservation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct guided game drives and where qualified bush walks
- Interpret wildlife behaviour ecosystems and conservation practices to guests
- Ensure the safety of guests at all times during activities
- Deliver a high standard of guest interaction and service
- Maintain guiding vehicles and equipment to operational standards
- Record wildlife sightings and support conservation initiatives
- Assist with general lodge operations and guest hosting when required
- Mentor and support junior guides and assist with guiding operations

Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Relevant Guiding qualifications
- Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Firearm competency
- 5 years experience for seniors in a reserve/lodge environment
