What Youll Be Responsible For
You will work closely with senior finance leadership and play an integral role in supporting the finance function across multiple entities.
Responsibilities include:
Managing general ledger administration and accounting support
Assisting withtax queries compliance and audit preparation
Performing reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
Supporting backlog clean-ups and improving accounting processes
Preparingmonthly and quarterly management accounts
Assisting withannual financial statements and audit schedules
Producing financial reports for different departments
Supporting budgeting planning and financial strategy processes
HandlingVAT submissions and reporting
Guiding and reviewing work completed by junior team members
Contributing to finance team initiatives and continuous improvement
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
5 years experience in an accounting role
BCom Accounting or similar financial qualification
Professional Accountant designation advantageous
Experience working with African countries specifically DRC
