Job Summary
Luxury Safari Lodge Pongola KwaZulu-Natal (KZN)
- Manage and oversee all daily housekeeping laundry and cleaning operations across the lodge including guest rooms public areas and back-of-house facilities.
- Maintain and enforce rigorous five-star cleaning and hygiene standards consistently.
- Supervise train and mentor the housekeeping team to ensure service excellence and high performance.
- Manage stock control inventory and procurement of cleaning supplies and linen ensuring efficient budget management.
- Monitor health and safety compliance within the department.
- Coordinate effectively with the Front of House and Maintenance teams to ensure seamless guest experience and prompt resolution of maintenance issues.
Requirements
Requirements & Experience:
- Proven experience in a Supervisory or senior role within the Housekeeping department of a luxury lodge hotel or resort.
- Strong organizational time management and leadership skills.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining immaculate property presentation.
- Must be able to work independently and thrive in a remote high-pressure hospitality environment.
- Proficiency in relevant operational systems is beneficial.
