Job Summary
- Develop and implement the organisations ESG strategy in alignment with corporate vision national sustainability agendas and stakeholder expectations.
- Establish governance frameworks policies and reporting structures to ensure ESG integration across all business units.
- Advise senior management and the Board on ESG risks opportunities and emerging trends.
- Ensure compliance with relevant ESG regulations standards and frameworks (e.g. Bursa Malaysia GRI SASB TCFD).
- Lead ESG reporting disclosures and assurance processes to meet regulatory and investor requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate ESG performance metrics ensuring continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary liaison with regulators government agencies and industry bodies on ESG matters.
- Promote ESG innovation including adoption of green technologies and digital solutions.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Business Finance Environmental Studies IT or related discipline).
Minimum 8 years of ESG experience with team management ideally.
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks compliance standards and industry best practices.
Strong stakeholder management skills including Board regulator and external partner engagement.
Experience in budgeting resource planning and vendor management.
Excellent communication in English and Malay and good presentation skills.
