Job Summary
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior OƯice Accountant with 78 years of experience in the
manufacturing sector to manage day-to-day accounting operations and support
financial reporting activities. The candidate should have strong knowledge of
accounting practices taxation statutory compliance and coordination with
internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely entry of financial
transactions.
Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
Manage ledger scrutiny journal entries and bank reconciliations.
Monitor cash flow and maintain proper financial documentation.
2. Financial Reporting
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial statements.
Assist in finalization of accounts and preparation of balance sheet and profit
& loss statements.
Provide financial data and reports to management as required.
3. Taxation & Compliance
Ensure compliance with GST TDS and other statutory regulations.
Prepare and file GST returns and maintain tax documentation.
Coordinate with auditors tax consultants and regulatory authorities.
4. Vendor & Customer Coordination
Verify vendor invoices and process payments.
Follow up on receivables and maintain customer account statements.
Resolve billing discrepancies and maintain proper records.
5. Audit & Documentation
Support internal and statutory audits by providing required financial
documents.
Maintain proper filing of accounting records and statutory registers.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
6. Administrative & MIS Support
Prepare MIS reports for management review.
Monitor cost control and expense tracking related to manufacturing
operations.
Coordinate with production purchase and stores departments for financial
data.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
Experience with accounting software such as Tally / Oracle systems.
Good understanding of GST TDS and statutory compliance.
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
Strong analytical organizational and communication skills.
