- Develop and deliver comprehensive engaging and curriculum-compliant lesson plans for English for Grades 8 and 9.
- Implement student-centered teaching methodologies including project-based learning group discussions and interactive activities.
- Assess student learning through regular quizzes assignments projects and examinations providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress attendance and academic performance.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and department heads to align teaching strategies with school-wide academic goals.
- Utilize digital tools and educational technology to enhance classroom instruction and student engagement.
- Participate in staff meetings professional development sessions and school events.

Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in English Education or a related field; postgraduate qualification (MA) preferred.
- Valid teaching certification (e.g. . NCTE-approved qualification) required.
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of teaching experience in a school setting preferably in Grades 89.
- Strong command of English communication skills for instruction assessment and parent interaction.
- Proven ability to create dynamic student-focused lesson plans and deliver them effectively.
- Demonstrated experience in classroom management and fostering an inclusive learning environment.
- Proficiency in using digital learning platforms and tools (e.g. Google Classroom MS Office LMS).
