The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is one of the largest most complex agencies in the state and has approximately 17000 employees. Description of Work
This position provides administrative/clerical support to a number of professional and specialty staff. This includes: data input/retrieval; creating authorizations; processing claims; ordering aids appliances AT and other equipment; setting up case files; corresponding with consumers vendors visitors and other DSB staff (written and verbal); making copies; filing; and others as assigned. This position also provides general office support such as: answering phones; mail retrieval distribution; greeting visitors; checking in equipment; sending faxes; and provides basic technical support for computers software programs and other office equipment.Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Range: $39244 - $68679
Recruitment Range: $39244 - $49000

The Division of Services for the Blind provides services to people who are visually impaired blind and deaf-blind to help them reach their goals of independence and employment.
