$2500 Sign-On Bonus (per diem; requires meeting minimum hours per agreement)
Schedule: Three (3) shifts per calendar month Regularly covering weekend shifts is expected Two (2) holidays per year.

What Youll Do in This Role:

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) assists in providing rehabilitative services to the elderly with mental physical emotional or developmental impairments.
Key Responsibilities
- Works under the direction of occupational therapists to plan implement or administer programs that restore or enhance performance in individuals with functional impairments.
- Monitors patients performance in therapy activities and provides encouragement.
- Assists in instructing patients and families in home programs basic living skills or the care and use of adaptive equipment.
- Observes and records patients progress attitudes and behavior and maintains this information in client records.
- Reports to supervisors on patients progress attitudes and behavior.
- Performs clerical duties.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Graduate of an accredited Therapy program
- 1 -2 years of related experience
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant state license
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance
