Job Description

Scheduling CoordinatorMoorheadMNHIRING IMMEDIATELY

Compensation:$25.96-$34.80 per hour

Available Shift:

  • Day Shift
  • 7:00 am-3:30 pm

Job Summary:

The Scheduling Coordinator focuses on the high-level management of production schedule for the plant. It is the main contact between the plant and corporate planning and is essential for corporate planning and plant operations alignment. Daily interdepartmental communication required to help the entire plant achieve established goals and KPIs. Key performance includes but not totally limited to safety quality and productivity efficiency on time shipments inventory levels and financial results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain master production schedule on daily basis.
  • Communicate with corporate planning frequently for high-level planning of plant production timing and maintenance.
  • Ensure that every employee involved in the production process has a clear understanding of what is required to meet the order and needs of customers.
  • Workhand-in-handwith other employees to make sure that all issues that are related to scheduling are properly handled and resolved.
  • Use labor and resources in the most cost-effective manner.
  • Facilitate MRP process and manage inventory levels.
  • Help rectify and/or reconcile output & financial differences and inaccuracies.
  • Maintain master data for packaging components work-in-process and finished goods.
  • Analyze production floor status through input/output control reporting.
  • Other duties asaassigned.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in supply-chain or related field bachelor is preferred.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to relate respectfully cordially and freely with people (customers employees and vendorsinclusive)
  • At least 3 years of related experience.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency with computers and applications.
  • Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SAP Experience preferred.
  • Blue Yonder experience desired.
  • Strategic thinking strong analytical skills able to synthesize considerable amounts of complex data.
  • Change agent skill with enabling change strong influencing abilities.

Physical requirements:

This positionis located ina manufacturing location. Physical requirements will include but are not limited to:

  • Standing for lengthy periods of time (frequent)
  • Sitting for extended periods of time (frequent)
  • Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional)
  • Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather dust noise above 85 dBA occasional odors and moving equipment (occasional)
