Overview

Scout Motors is building something iconic and hiringthe talentthat makes it possible requires focus precision and leadership.

The Manager TalentAcquisitionwill leadfull-cyclerecruiting efforts across Corporate Commercial Operations Technical and Engineering functions. This leader will oversee a team of recruiters andpartnerclosely with executive and functional leaders to deliverhigh qualitytalent in a hyper-growth high-accountability environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with a strong bias toward action someone who simplifies complexity drives operational excellence and holds themselvestheirteamand stakeholdersaccountable to deliver measurable results.


What youll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

Lead & Deliver Results

  • Lead and develop a team of recruiters supporting Engineering Technical Commercial Operations andCorporatefunctions (IT Finance Legal Marketing Compliance HRBrand &Strategy Growth AdministrationAuditetc.)
  • Own hiring performance across supported business areas ensuring delivery against headcount plans time-to-fill targets and quality-of-hire metrics
  • Drive disciplined requisition management prioritization and workload distribution
  • Establish clear expectations performance standards and accountability mechanisms across the recruiting team
  • Step in as a player-coach when necessary to ensure critical roles are filled

Simplify & Standardize

  • Bring structure and consistency to recruiting processes in an environment that has historically been complex
  • Identifyinefficiencies and implement scalable solutions that improve speed transparency and predictability
  • Ensure data integrity and disciplined system usage

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to functional leaders understanding business goals capability gaps and workforce planning needs
  • Translate business strategy into actionable recruiting plans
  • Providetalent market insights to influence hiring strategy and workforce decisions
  • Support critical leadership hiringas needed

DriveTalent Excellence

  • Build high-caliber candidate pipelines acrossengineeringtechnicaland corporatedisciplines
  • Elevate sourcing strategies and proactive talentpoolmapping
  • Lead hiring calibration conversations to ensure quality and consistency
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices and structured interviewing

Performance & Accountability

  • Utilizeinternal hiring data (supply and demand) and external market data to develop and execute plans that driveperformance
  • Conduct regular business reviews with stakeholders
  • Create visibility into risks and mitigation plans
  • Foster a high-performance culture grounded in feedback recognition and ownership

Location & Travel Expectations:

  • This role is based out of theScout Motors corporate headquarters in Charlotte NC.
  • This role requires 4 days per week in the office with regular in-person meetings and events.
  • Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or related field of study is required
  • 7 years of Talent Acquisition leadership experience is required
  • Experience recruiting across technical and corporate disciplines in a high-growth environment (automotive or manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong operational mindset with the ability to scale processes and drive execution
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and hold stakeholders accountable
  • Experience leveraging recruiting metrics and dashboards to drive performance
  • Exceptional communication coaching and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity while delivering structure and clarity

Pay Transparency

This is a full-time exempt position eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program. Final salary offered will be determined based on factors including but not limited to the candidates skills and experience. The annual performance bonus program is preset and not candidate dependent.

Initial base salary range $120000.00 - $145000.00
