TDs risk management approach is comprehensive and proactive and combines experience and specialized knowledge of individual business segments risk professionals andthe corporateoversight functions. It is based on enabling TDs business to understand their risks and developing the policies processes and controls required to manage these risks appropriately in line with the Banks strategy and risk appetite.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Risk Management is a key Corporate Function supporting thefront-linebusinesses within TD with over 1800 employees in offices in Canada United States UK and Singapore. We partner internally with many different areas of TD as well as our business partners to ensure we exceed our clients expectations and employees to focus on a positive employee experience. We work externally with regulators to align with industry standards and benchmark ourselves against best practices.

TD Securities Operational Risk Management (TDSORM) is a second line ofdefencefunction providing operational risk management oversight and challenge to TD Securities businesses and support functions.

TDSORMs mandate is to independently guide and challengethe businessimplementation of and ongoing compliance with the TDBG ORM Framework. The team is also responsible for providing a broad range of risk management counsel riskanalyses reporting and support to business partners and senior management on a wide range of risk-related matters across a broad range of risk types.

TDSORM works in close partnership with the TD Securities businesses to understand their strategy and support their growth while at the same time ensuring that the appropriate risk and control framework is in place to adhere to and respect risk appetite

As a student part of the TD Risk ManagementCo-opprogramyou will have the opportunity to join different development workshops seminars and lunch andlearns.We will provideyouthe necessary tools resources and guidance to achieve both business and personal goals.

JOBREQUIREMENTS

What You Bring to TD

• Currentlyenrolled in anundergraduate degreemajoring inBusinessStatistics Mathematics Financial AnalysisRisk ManagementComputer Scienceorequivalent

• Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at of the start of your work term

• Familiarity with SAS

• Relational database SQL skills for data mining extraction and statistical analysis.

• Strong excelAdvanced MS Excel and MS Access for data analysis (Pivot Filter FormulasVlookup VBA)

• Data Analytics and Reporting

• Dealing with ambiguity

• Dedicated detail oriented andan abilityto propose creative solutions

• Written & verbal communication skills

• Results focused

• Quick learner

• High degree of personal initiative

Skills that are not required butconsideredanasset:

• Knowledge of Financial Industry/Risk Management/Retail Credit products

• Experienceusing Business Intelligence Reporting tools such as SAP Business Objects Cognos or Tableau

• Microsoft Visio would be an asset

• Knowledge of R and HIVE

• Knowledge of Basel Capital Frameworks

• Quality Center (HP ALM) Testing tool

• MS Project

EDUCATION & PROGRAM

Bachelors in an academic program ofBusiness/Commerce Risk Math/Statistics Finance/Economics Computer Science Computer Engineeringorequivalent
