Position Summary
The University of Central Arkansas ( UCA ) invites applications for an academic Graduate Assistantship within the Department of Exercise and Sport Science ( ). The university is committed to creating a culture that embraces diversity belonging inclusion and equity. Academic graduate assistants are assigned to a research lab and/or academic course supervised by one or more faculty members. The department is home to more than 700 students offering undergraduate degrees in exercise science and physical education and graduate degrees in athletic training exercise science and sport management. Areas of research emphasis include exercise physiology biomechanics sport-related concussions pain management and sport leadership. The department values inclusive pedagogy and the UCA Center for Teaching Excellence and Academic Leadership ( ) is an available resource to assist faculty to thrive professionally and personally. Full-time (20 hours a week) and Part-time (10 hours a week) positions are available.
