Certified Nursing Assistant

In this position you will support Med/Surg department Geriatric Behavioral Health Unit and Emergency Department.

Here are some ways youll serve patients:

• Critical monitoring like obtaining blood pressure temperature pulse respiratory rateand oxygen levels so we can better assess patienthealth
• Transport patients to appointments and procedures to get them the right care at the right time
• Interact with patients to promote comfort and express compassion and empathy as they heal
• Walking Its one of the most important things we can do for our patients- and you get to help them do it safely
• Assist with activities of daily living things we often take for granted that patients may be unable to or need help doing themselves. This can include eating bathing brushing teeth toileting and more.

Schedule:

• Part-Time 48 hours every two weeks
• Variable 12-hour shifts; shifts to include 7pm-7:30am and 7am-7:30pm (you would be working a combination of both shifts)
• Every 3rd weekend 7pm-7:30am
• Rotating Holidays

Pay and Benefits:

• Starting pay begins at $19.40 per hour and increases with experience.
  • Pay Range: $19.40 - $28.79 per hour

Qualifications:

• Certified as a Nursing Assistant on the Minnesota Registry.
• Some healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Must have current certification through the American Heart Association.
• Strong interpersonal human relations skills.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
