Senior Applications Programmer

Halvik is seeking a highly skilled Senior Applications Programmer to support the analysis design development testing documentation and delivery of custom and frameworkbased software solutions. This role requires strong expertise in frontend scripting and markup languages as well as deep proficiency in Visual C# and the SSOM object model. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with technical teams and government stakeholders to ensure products meet mission needs with accuracy integrity and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze system and user requirements; design code test debug and document custom applications and frontend components.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive work breakdown structure (WBS) and project schedule including milestones reviews audits quality checks and customer acceptance testing.
• Perform development activities within a nonproduction development environment including work in prerelease or staging environments that closely mirror production systems.
• Provide technical consulting and support for establishing and sustaining development and staging environments.
• Develop software using Visual C# and the SSOM object model.
• Conduct rigorous testing to validate accuracy integrity interoperability completeness and performance of all code; document test results thoroughly.
• Produce clear documentation for each release including release notes technical manuals feature descriptions code comments and bugfix details.
• Create enduser documentation such as training guides howto articles FAQs and portal wiki content.
• Support the Government in preparing training materials demonstrating new features delivering user manuals generating test data and developing scripts to meet training objectives.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Systems or related field.
• 810 years of progressive experience in application development.
• Proficiency in Visual C# and the SSOM object model.
• Demonstrated experience developing in staged or preproduction environments.
• Strong background in structured testing documentation and version/release management.
• Ability to create highquality technical and enduser documentation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to break down complex requirements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities including direct customer interaction.
• CompTIA Sec
• Active Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in a related technical field.
• Experience working in government or DoD environments (if applicable).
• Familiarity with SharePoint development enterprise architecture or related technologies.
• Experience mentoring junior developers or leading technical workstreams.
