Role description:

We are looking for an experienced Data Center Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Arcadis Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecture and project management with a high degree of data center knowledge evidenced by actual work experience. As a Data Center Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project life cycle from initial concept and design through to construction and final handover. You will work closely with clients contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met and that all work is complete to the highest standards. Your role will involve coordinating and managing multiple data center project teams developing project plans and schedules monitoring progress and resolving any issues that arise. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all work complies with relevant regulation and standards and for maintaining accurate project documentation. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire their team. They will be highly organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to managing challenges. Role accountabilities:

  • Oversee all phases of architectural data center projects from inception to completion
  • Develop and manage project plans schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate and manage project teams including architects engineers and contractors
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant regulations and standards
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records
  • Communicate regularly with clients contractors and other stakeholders
  • Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the project
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is progressing as planned
  • Prepare and present project reports and updates to clients and senior management
  • Ensure all project deliverables are completed on time and within budget
  • Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Review and approve project designs plans and specifications
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members
  • Ensure high standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the project
  • Coordinate with local authorities and regulatory bodies as required
  • Manage project resources and allocate tasks effectively
  • Conduct post-project evaluations and identify areas for improvement
  • Stay up to date with data center industry trends and best practices

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in architecture engineering or a related field
  • Professional certification or license in architecture or project management
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex data center projects
  • Strong knowledge of data center architectural design and construction processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Proficient in project management software and tools
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $120000 - $180000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
