Venue Manager Queensland Museum Kurilpa

We are seeking an experienced Venue Manager to lead operations at Café Muse located within Queensland Museum Kurilpa.

Were looking for a standout hospitality professional who is personable well presented and naturally confident in guest-facing this role you will oversee all frontofhouse operations ensuring seamless café service exceptional guest experiences and the smooth delivery of internal functions and events.

Reporting to the General Manager QLD this handson leadership role is responsible for driving the growth quality and performance of our F&B operations while leading an exceptional frontofhouse team. Were looking for a strong operator with sharp attention to detail a passion for staff development and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Our venue is fastpaced yearround particularly during school holidays so maintaining high standards in service and quality is essential. The Venue Manager will also step in across barista cashier and service roles when required.

Salary: $90100K Super (commensurate with experience)

THE ROLE

Oversee a thriving café and a diverse range of onsite functions and events

Maintain relationships with museum stakeholders ensuring all aspects of the contract are meeting KPIs and expectations

Lead mentor and develop a highperforming frontofhouse team

Foster strong collaboration between kitchen and service teams

Deliver exceptional customer service to regular patrons and guests

Manage P&L performance including beverage costs wages and expenses

Proven experience managing a busy venue and events

Strong barista skills (essential)

Excellent time management and organisational ability

Innovative approach to F&B operations

Confident leader who can motivate guide and mentor staff
