Your role as a Registered Nurse FAMILY BIRTHING

As a PRN (Relief) Registered Nurse in the Family Birthing Center at Southwest Health System Inc. youll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care with efficiency safety and courtesy. You will utilize your extensive knowledge of nursing procedures to provide tailored care that addresses the unique needs of patients across various age groups. With a solid understanding of growth and development principles you will assess and interpret patient data to identify individual care requirements effectively. What matters most

To excel as a PRN (Relief) Registered Nurse in the Family Birthing Center at Southwest Health System Inc. youll need a robust set of skills and qualifications. A graduate of an accredited nursing program you must hold a current Registered Nurse licensure in Colorado or a compact license.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Nursing Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Associate degree required (bachelors degree preferred)
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure within state of Colorado. Compact license accepted and Colorado License must be obtained within first 90 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current PALS certification within 6 months of hire 12 months if a new graduate.
• Current ACLS certification within 6 months of hire 12 months if a new graduate.
• Successful completion of EKG course within 4 months of hire.

Language Skills:

• Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
• Additional languages preferred.

Skills:

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
