Sales Manager / Sales Engineer

Location: Bethlehem Pennsylvania
Base Salary: $110000 - $130000 company bonus

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager / Sales Engineer to join a highly regarded manufacturer of industrial machinery and capital equipment. This role will lead North American sales strategy manage key customer relationships and oversee a team of internal Sales Engineers.

Ideally you will have a background in an engineering or manufacturing discipline such as Mechanical Engineering CNC machining / CNC Programming or a similar technical field.

Full managerial training will be provided for the right candidate.

Sales Manager / Sales Engineer role:

• Travel across the US to manage and grow key customer relationships.
• Lead and mentor a small team of Internal Sales Engineers set performance targets and support career development.
• Recommend and provide technical machining solutions services and parts to key customers.
• Monitor competitor activity analyze market trends and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
• Develop and execute sales plans manage budgets and provide regular performance and market updates to senior management.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are met and projects are delivered successfully.

Sales Manager / Sales Engineer requirements:

• Proven experience selling industrial machinery or capital equipment a background working with CNC machines or machine tools is desirable.
• You must have a technical background in an engineering or manufacturing discipline such as Mechanical Engineering CNC machining / CNC Programming or similar.
• Track record of building and maintaining long-term customer relationships across technical and industrial markets.
• Experience leading or mentoring sales teams setting targets and driving performance is highly desirable however full managerial training will be provided.
• Willingness to travel across the US as needed to support key customers.
• Located within a commutable distance from Bethlehem Pennsylvania.
