Summary:
Responsible for the development and maintenance of departmental budgets and variance report/statistical information used by management to measure financial performance and cost containment.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide training and assist managers and administrators in development of departmental budgets.
2. Responsible for development of budget models including employee job code account budget modeling utilizing TOP down budget approach with focus on maximization of systems and performance improvement.
3. Responsible for preparation of statistical data for both internal reporting and external agencies State CMS OHCA.
4. Responsible for TSI financial modules: including maintenance integration upgrade enhancements new TSI functionality interfaces and resolution of system issues pertaining to ALB module.
5. Prepares surveys or required reporting data for external agencies.
6. Responsible for data submission to CHIME for PCR Reporting. Identify practice changes and incorporate as needed into CHIME reporting to ensure data quality.
7. Responsible for the data integrity of the Premier Benchmarking System and ongoing maintenance.
8. Accountable for the development of the TSI system for expanding company structure.
9. Responsible for the development of the EPSI replacement system streamlining process and maximizing functionality.
10. Responsible for training managers and supervisors on interpreting financial/statistical reports.
11. Participation in annual financial statement audits providing support to external auditors.
12. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.

Other Information:
Required: Bachelor Degree and minimum of seven years or more job-related experience.
Minimum Experience: seven years or more
Desired: Knowledge of hospital/health care financial & clinical issues. Experience in budget development and/or cost accounting. Complete familiarity with spreadsheet & word processing software applications and experience with financial database systems required. Analytical detail-oriented problem solving skills. Ability to work in a stressful fast pace environment. Work independently. Requires development of innovative approach to problem solving and decision making incorporating IT technical knowledge with application expertise and financial knowledge to resolve issues and develop plans in meeting customer needs.
