Job Summary:
KBR is seeking a Senior Operations Security Analyst/Management Analyst to join our team. This position supports PMA-231 directly assisting the Program Office to perform critical program management and support in the execution of E-2C / E-2D Fleet Information and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case management regarding unclassified and classified document release. The candidate will be based out of NAS Patuxent River Maryland.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Functional Description
A successful candidate will apply knowledge of Operations Security (OPSEC) to develop implement and maintain the OPSEC Program to protect sensitive Unclassified and Classified program information activities equipment and material used or developed by the U.S. Government and industry. A successful candidate will coordinate engineering review of all data for release to ensure security classification guidelines are met prior to release to U.S. Navy Industry or foreign nationals.
Specific tasking will include but is not limited to:
- Review programdocumentation prior to release to U.S. and foreign governments and contractors to ensure compliance with the applicable Security Classification Guide (SCG) for all program information.
- When applicable ensure compliance with DoD policy and guidance on Foreign Disclosure and Export Controls and related U.S. Export Control Laws Regulations and Policies.
- Develop OPSEC Survey and Assessment Plans as well as conduct and produce findings of surveys and assessments.
- Develop participate in and/or provide OPSEC SCG and International Programs Security training and awareness.
- Demonstrated experience in Document Sanitization and Releasability.
- In addition the candidate must exhibit well-developed verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal skills; analytical skills; attention to detail; organizational skills; ability to assess apply and recommend improvements to established business processes; and can balance priorities to work effectively in the fast-paced program office environment.
- The selected candidate must be highly proficient at Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Project & Outlook).
- Must be a self-starter and be able to co-lead meetings and capture actions items and meeting minutes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. At least a current Secret Clearance is required.
- Required Experience:Ten (10) or more years of combined experience performing duties described in the functional description.
- Required Education:Masters Degree
- ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Bachelors Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Masters Degree. (Total: 12 years)ORAssociates Degree plus four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Masters Degree. (Total: 14 years)ORSix (6) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Masters Degree. (Total: 16 years)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated Knowledge and Experience in FMS
- Demonstrated experience in Foreign Disclosure and Releasability.
Work Location: The candidate will be based out of NAS Patuxent River Maryland.
Compensation: $106480.00 - $159720.00. The salary range posted is for Maryland locations. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates location knowledge skills abilities and/or experience contract affordability and in consideration of internal parity.
