Job Summary
Join University Home Care Inc as a Home Care Assistant in Barton Hills this role you will provide compassionate and reliable in-home support to our clients helping them maintain independence and improve their quality of life. You will assist with daily living activities and ensure a safe comfortable environment for those in your care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and mobility.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living space.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients health or behavior to supervisory staff.
- Follow care plans and instructions accurately and respectfully.
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus but NOT required.
- Compassionate patient and reliable with strong communication skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and assisting clients.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation is a plus.
- Willingness to undergo background checks.
