Construction Estimator

Cedar Park Group is seeking a Mid-Level Construction Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and supporting project planning for a variety of commercial and civil construction projects. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills solid estimating experience and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams to produce competitive and well-developed bids.

Position Overview

The Construction Estimator will support preconstruction and bidding efforts by reviewing project documentation performing quantity takeoffs and developing detailed cost estimates. This role works closely with project managers subcontractors and vendors to ensure accurate pricing risk evaluation and successful project handoff.

Requirements (Mandatory & Desired)

• 35 years of construction estimating experience

• Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and pricing

• Experience using estimating and takeoff software

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates budgets and bid proposals

• Review plans specifications and project documentation

• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis

• Collaborate with project managers subcontractors and vendors

• Analyze project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities

• Assist with bid submissions and proposal preparation

• Support project handoff to operations teams

• Maintain organized estimating files and documentation

Compensation

• $75000 $85000 annually (based on experience)
