Under general supervision the Lecture Capture Coordinator provides consultation training and technical support on instructional and multimedia technologies collaborates with faculty on projects supports lecture capture and video tools develops instructional materials and contributes to multimedia production user support and ongoing technology initiatives.
- Provides user consultation training and assistance on a variety of instructional multi-media and emerging technologies inclusive of those pertinent to lecture capture.
- Consults and interfaces with faculty regarding their projects (ex. video-conferencing classroom use records video content for courses produces promotional content for departments).
- Helps faculty with instructional technologies and other associated software or hardware that aid in teaching and learning.
- Trains users in effective use of technology with formal and informal hands-on training and development of documentation and knowledgebase content both in written multimedia formats and integration into the LMS.
- Serves as the primary point of faculty contact for all pre-recorded lectures live video-conferencing lectures and lecture capture.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
