About the Role
FluidStack is building hyperscale GPU data centers that power the worlds leading AI labsincluding Anthropic Meta Google and Mistral. As a Data Center Superintendent you will be our boots-on-the-ground leader responsible for executing large-scale mission-critical construction projects from groundbreaking through commissioning and handoff. You will own daily site operations coordinate trades and subcontractors enforce safety and quality standards and drive schedules to meet aggressive delivery milestones. This is a high-ownership high-impact role at the center of FluidStacks infrastructure buildout.
Basic Qualifications:
7 years of on-site construction experience on large-scale mission-critical infrastructure projects
Demonstrated experience managing multiple subcontractors GC relationships and union representatives simultaneously
Strong working knowledge of building codes safety regulations and compliance standards (OSHA NFPA NEC)
Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex structural mechanical and electrical construction drawings specs and RFIs
Proven ability to manage project schedules logistics and on-site materials and equipment coordination
Strong communication skills with the ability to report progress clearly to internal stakeholders and external partners
Preferred Qualifications:
5 years of experience specifically in hyperscale data center construction (50MW capacity $100M budgets)
Experience overseeing commissioning phases (Level 3 4 and 5) through facility operations handoff
Background with hyperscale operators or developers such as AWS Meta Vantage QTS or similar
Bachelors degree in Construction Management Electrical Engineering or a related field
Familiarity with prefabrication strategies and their application in accelerating hyperscale delivery timelines
Experience managing construction within or adjacent to live high-uptime environments
Travel 75% to active sites or as needed for projects.

The salary range for this position is $130000 - $160000 per year depending on experience skills qualifications and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.
