The South Okanagan Women in NeedSociety (SOWINS) is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to join thePrograms and Services team at our Administrative Office.
ABOUT THE ROLE: The Bookkeepersupports a variety of day-to dayfinancialtransactions including accounts receivable and accountspayableusingQuickbooksaccounting may also provide Bookkeeper creates financial reportsandmaintainsavariety of financial and otherrecordsfilesand related filing systems.
Schedule: This position is scheduled to work 21 hours per weekworking Monday Tuesday Wednesday (9:00 am 4:30 pm).
Union: This position requires union membership under Health SciencesAssociation (HSA).
Wage: HSA Grid 10 ($25.95 $29.76)
Benefits: Provided in accordance with the termsof the Collective Agreement.
Start date: March 30 2026
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.Grade12plus related post-secondary coursesof up to 2yearsincludingbookkeepingandbasic accounting.
2.Two (2)yearsrecentrelated experienceas a bookkeeperin a non-profitorganization.
3.Valid Class 5Drivers License and access to a reliable vehicle with appropriate 3rdParty Insurance.
Or an equivalent combination ofeducationtrainingand experience.
