The Cook prepares and presents meals according to recipes and quality standards. This position requires experience with various cooking methods attention to food safety and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare meals following restaurant recipes and presentation standards.
- Weigh measure mix and prep ingredients.
- Cook meats vegetables and other foods using various methods.
- Monitor ingredient freshness and maintain proper storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen station.
- Assist with training and supporting kitchen staff.
- Follow sanitation and food safety protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to lift 20-40 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Must have valid food handlers card
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Culinary degree or training preferred.
- Prior experience in food preparation roles.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation and health regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Ability to work nights weekends and holidays.
