Were partnering with a global healthtech scaleup with roots in South Africaarchitecting resilient cloud platforms for AI-powered healthcare systems. These environments support production workloads where up-time security compliance and scalability are mission critical.

They are looking for a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer to own and evolve their GCP-based cloud platform. Land the job and youll design build and optimise secure scalable infrastructure powering complex real-world systems.
If you enjoy ownership clean architecture and building resilient platforms at scale this is where your work will matter.

WHAT YOU WILL BE BUILDING

• Own and evolve GCP infrastructure (IAM networking storage databases)
• Build and manage Kubernetes (GKE) environments
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) best practices
• Ensure security compliance and audit readiness
• Improve monitoring reliability and platform performance
  

OUR REQUIRED EXPERTISE

• 5 years in DevOps / Platform Engineering
• Strong GCP and Kubernetes (GKE) experience
• Solid Terraform and CI/CD expertise
• Experience with secure scalable systems
• Exposure to regulated or compliance-driven environment
• Engineering mindset focused on automation resilience and continuous improvement
• Masters Degree or PhD in Computer Science Engineering Artificial Intelligence Data Science or a related technical field
  

HIGHLY BENEFICIAL

• SOC2 / HIPAA exposure
• Platform modernisation or infrastructure transition experience
• Healthcare or regulated industry experience
