Associate Director Commercial EnginesAftermarket OperationsCommunicationsCommercial Engines (CE) is Pratt & Whitneys largestbusinessmaking up more than 50 percent of the annual revenue. RTX Communications is seeking an outstanding candidate to develop and deliver communications strategies and content across the P&W CE portfolio. As a member of the Communications team you will work with company leaders to help drive business results by providing world-class communications in support of company priorities.
What You Will Do:
Serve as the Communications point of contact and a key member of the leadership team supporting theCE SVPOperations.
Develop and lead an integrated communicationsplanand cross-functional team to support theaftermarket operationsorganizations businessobjectivesand employee engagement goals as a key part of the Commercial Engines single aisle market priority.
Track progresson the planand partner with cross-COEcolleaguesonmeasurement.
Conduct regular business reviews with CE leadership to assess progress andcourse-correctas necessary.
Prepareand secure approval forcommunications deliverables including talking points key messages prep packages posts featured contentspeeches news releases holding statements presentations.
Preparethe CE SVP Operationsandotherbusiness leaders for external speaking opportunities.
Partner withtheMedia Relations teamto achieve a positive narrative in the media and leverage program news and milestones.Helpfacilitatemedia interviews and ensure participants are prepared.
Prepare and secure approvals for media statements/Q&As and talking points in partnership with the business leaders and Media Relations team.
Partner with theBrandteamto develop and delivercompelling and impactfulassets and experiences as part ofthecommunicationsplan.
Partner with theDigital Communications teamto design and deploy contentwhichgeneratesstrong internal and external engagement.
Developand managerelationships with Communications counterparts atMRO networkpartners as well as members of the media and third-party influencersto raise awareness of and advocacy for the advantages of Pratt & Whitneys commercial engines aftermarket operations.
Plan attend and leverage industry MRO and other trade shows and events to deliver results in support ofaftermarket operationsbusinessobjectives including media social media customer/3rd partytestimonials.Meetwith communications counterparts to build and advance relationships. Ensurethe company isfavorably positioned at key trade shows and industry events
Partner withtheEmployee Communicationsteamto buildworkforceengagement in support ofaftermarket operationsbusiness goals and wider internal communicationsobjectives including townhall meetings regular leadermessagesand organizational announcements
Coordinate with international communications colleagues to support thegrowth andreputation of the commercial enginesglobal MRO network.
Manage crisis communications in partnership withthePublic Relationsteam fortheaftermarket operationsbusinessand support crisis communications for the wider commercial engines fleet.
Travel approximately 10% to both domestic and international locations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires aBachelors Degree in Communications Marketing English Public Relations or related field and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.
Previousproject management experienceutilizingorganizational skills with attention to detail.
Previousexperience as a leader with strong interpersonal influencing and collaboration skills.
Previousexperience executing written oral and e-communications especially in a virtual environment.
Previousexperience delivering successful communications campaigns for global engineering /manufacturing organizations preferably in the aerospace or a related industry.
Experience with traditional and non-traditional communication platforms including print electronic social mediavideoand industry events.

The salary range for this role is 157200 USD - 298800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
