A well-established family-run freight forwarder with over 35 years in the industry is looking for a Senior Import Operator to join their growing team in Witham. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a close-knit business where youll have real ownership of your work and key client relationships.
The role:
Youll take full ownership of import operations managing shipments from start to finish across air sea and road with a strong focus on FCL. Youll work closely with overseas partners handle key accounts and ensure a smooth high-quality service for clients.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing end-to-end import shipments
Coordinating with international offices and partners
Handling FCL quotes and client pricing
Managing Amazon FBA shipments
Overseeing key client accounts
Raising invoices and processing financials
Resolving queries efficiently and professionally
What were looking for:
710 years experience in freight forwarding
Strong focus on import operations (especially FCL)
Confident managing full shipment lifecycles
Excellent communication and client management skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
