Job Title: Practice Nurse (Short-Term Cover)
Location: Braintree Essex
Duration: 2 Weeks (Immediate Start)
Rate: 31 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Practice Nurse for short-term cover at a busy GP practice in Braintree. This role requires a professional who is well-versed in treatment room duties and can provide a high standard of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Treatment room duties including wound care dressings and minor injury management.
- Administration of vaccinations and injections including flu vaccines and B12 injections.
- Cervical screening (smears).
- Chronic disease management support.
- Health checks venepuncture and routine patient assessments.
- Conducting ECGs and assisting in various clinical tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Experience with SystmOneis essential.
- Valid NMC Registration.
- Experience in a GP practice setting.
- Immediate availability for 2 weeks.
