You will be working on a flexible hybrid schedule as part of Fidelitys dynamic working arrangement.
The work location for this role is 483 Bay Street in Toronto until approximately late 2026 when the work location will change to the new Mississauga office at 3 Robert Speck Parkway.

How Youll Make an Impact
Serve as a Technical Lead leading the execution and delivery of technology solutions and continuous improvements across Fidelitys application landscape in close collaboration with Fidelitys architecture teams and in alignment with enterprise standards and best practices. One of the roles first key mandates will be the modernization of Fidelitys core systems working alongside architecture partners to evolve legacy platforms toward more scalable resilient and futureready solutions.
- Partner closely with engineers product owners and business stakeholders to deliver highquality application solutions that meet both technical and business objectives.
- Collaborate with business teams to break down complex initiatives into welldefined deliverables provide accurate estimates for scope timelines and resourcing recommend technical approaches and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Lead by example in engineering excellence by continually assessing code quality architecture alignment and operational risk to ensure robust secure and maintainable solutions.
- Take ownership of producing and reviewing clear concise and comprehensive technical documentation that supports longterm sustainability and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to the reliability of Fidelity Canadas application portfolio by supporting daytoday operations including participation in the oncall rotation while continuously identifying opportunities to improve stability performance and supportability.
- Analyze code quality and continually assess risk to ensure that high quality solutions are delivered.
What Were Looking For
- Completed University degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- 5 years experience as a fullstack developer
- 2 years working as a team lead is an asset
- Experience in typescript/node or java/spring boot on backend typescript/react/angular on frontend.
- Strong experience building and designing systems
- Experience working within the financial industry is an asset

- Base Salary and Discretionary Performance Bonus: A competitive annual range of $135000 to $152000 based on your experience and qualifications.
