Registered Nurse | Float Pool

Summary

The RN in the Float Pool is the basic level of professional nursing practice. She/he identifies and implements nursing interventions that have less predictable outcomes and evaluates the results of these interventions for a given patient population. A nurse at this level may be required to assume leadership responsibility.

Nurses in our Float Pool serve patients on the following units:

• ER
• ICU (those that are trained)
• Ambulatory Care Department
• Med/Surg
• Women and Childrens

Schedule

• 60 hours every 2 weeks

• Rotating day evening and night shifts with a mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts

• Every 3^rd weekend (12-hour shifts)

• Rotating holidays

Pay and Benefits

• Pay based on experience and degree
  • Associate/Diploma in nursing starting at $43.24 per hour
  • Bachelors in nursing starting at $43.61 per hour
  • Masters in nursing starting at $45.79 per hour

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure in the State of Minnesota.
• Understanding of the range of treatment needed by patients of all ages in relation to the growth and development processes to include neonate child adolescent adult and geriatric patients.
• New grads welcome! We offer a Nurse Residency Program partneredwith St. Cloud Hospital for your first year along with a monthly mentorship program.
