Sr. Operations Manager (Mid-to-Large Manufacturing Exp. Req.) Description

Our client in the industrial manufacturing industry is seeking a Sr. Operations Manager to join their team east of Green Bay this role you will lead multi-site manufacturing operations and distribution functions driving performance across production quality logistics and safety while ensuring alignment with company goals. The ideal candidate will have experience managing mid-to-large-scale manufacturing facilities including oversight of multiple sites and involvement in plant startups or acquisitions. To be successful you must demonstrate strong analytical capabilities leadership of cross-functional teams and the ability to leverage data and KPIs to drive operational improvements. This is a high-impact leadership role with visibility across the organization and influence on operational strategy and performance.

Sr. Operations Manager (Mid-to-Large Manufacturing Exp. Req.) Responsibilities

Lead manufacturing operations across multiple production facilities and distribution warehouses
Establish operational priorities and communicate direction to site leadership teams
Oversee safety production scheduling quality logistics and technical training functions
Lead weekly operations meetings bi-weekly project meetings and customer performance reviews
Drive KPI tracking and performance reporting to improve productivity efficiency and cost control
Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company goals and profitability targets
Manage budgets and maintain partial P&L responsibility across operations
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize workflows and reduce costs
Support plant startups acquisitions and integration of new facilities into operations
Partner with executive leadership on short- and long-term operational planning
Ensure compliance with quality standards safety programs and regulatory requirements
Utilize data analytics tools to support decision-making and performance insights

Sr. Operations Manager (Mid-to-Large Manufacturing Exp. Req.) Qualifications

Bachelors degree required (or an associates degree 3 years of additional experience)
5 years as an Operations/Plant Manager in a mid-to-large manufacturing facility is required
Experience of overseeing multiple production facilities is required
Prior experience with plant startups or plant acquisitions is required
Experience managing budgets and partial P&L responsibility is required
Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data analytics tools are required
Proficiency with ERP systems is required
