Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains successful relationships with business referral sources including existing and prospective leads to achieve production/sales goals as established by direct manager and the company
- Grows the branch through development of marketing initiatives for all loan officers and retains and expands the companys base of customers
- Develops loan officers through training in selling techniques marketing ideas lead generation and closing mortgages
- Meets with borrowers to obtain information for loan applications and to answer questions about the process
- Analyzes borrowers financial status credit and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans
- Maintains current and thorough knowledge of all lending programs policies procedures and regulatory requirements including company training continuing education requirements and federal and state regulations
Qualifications:
- 3 years of Loan Officer experience
- MLO License required
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and company-specific software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelors Degree in related field
- 1 years of experience managing a team
