About the Job
While working under the direction of Senior I/O Psychologists the Analyst will focus heavily on psychometric analysis of test and item functioning using CTT and IRT. Other assignments will include supporting the analysis of work functions developing competency-based skill standards and developing implementing and maintaining knowledge and skills-based assessments.
Position Type: **Pending Contract Award **Full Time / Part Time / 1099
Responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis on assessments (i.e. pilot-tests production versions ongoing maintenance) and surveys using CTT and IRT
- Participate in the development and execution of job task analyses
- Conduct the appropriate procedures to develop assessment items and exams for certification programs (e.g. item writing/review standard setting test equating and enemy item analysis)
- Write technical reports and official documentation to support the defensibility of high stakes assessments
- Provide support to clients on certification implementation and maintenance through status updates custom solutions product adjustments and process recommendations
- Assist with the development execution and maintenance of certification assessments so all aspects comply with industry standards and major third-party accreditation standards (e.g. NCCA)
- Facilitate meetings with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support project needs (e.g. test development certification program development certification reporting etc.)
- Merge clean and wrangle qualitative and quantitative data into appropriate databases for analysis (e.g. SPSS Excel R etc.)
- Develop visual representations of data analysis for client deliverables and presentations
- Explore new solutions to increase effectiveness and efficiency in GSX procedures
- Comply with information security requirements when provided access to classified information
- Conduct literature reviews and develop reports for research projects including reviewing academic and business literature
Minimum Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology from an accredited university
- Experience using Excel for data management and manipulation
- Experience reporting and presenting to technical and non-technical audiences
- Knowledge of Classical Test Theory (CTT) and its applications
- Ability to facilitate panels of subject matter experts in order gain insight into work and worker information
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance
- Active security clearance (i.e. Secret Top Secret etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Classical Test Theory (CTT) and/or Item Response Theory (IRT) to evaluate knowledge assessments
- Experience facilitating panels of subject matter experts in order gain insight into work and worker information
- 6 months of experience in assessment development
- Experience in RStudio Python or other programming languages for data analytics
- Knowledge of NCCA accreditation standards
