Personal/Commercial Insurance Agent

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and customer-focused Personal/Commercial Insurance Agent to join a small dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with management in a collaborative and supportive environment. As a key member of the team you will be responsible for both sales and service with a focus on growing the agencys book of business. Compensation Package

• Salary: $50000 - $60000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a mix of personal and commercial insurance accounts including high-net-worth individuals and small to mid-sized businesses.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries processing policy changes and resolving issues promptly.
• Actively pursue new business opportunities and contribute to the growth of the agencys $4 million premium book.
• Quote new and renewal business with a focus on new business until a personal renewal portfolio is established.
• Collaborate with team members and management to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance sales or service. Experience with Safeco Travelers Hartford Foremost or Progressive is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with EZLynx software is preferred but not required.
