About the Role:

Cantina is seeking a web-focused product designer who will work at the intersection of AI and consumer this role youll own the end-to-end design process shaping intuitive and dynamic interactions that deepen engagement and expand our user base. Collaborating closely with product engineering and AI teams youll explore new interaction paradigms refine core mechanics and push the boundaries of how people connect in AI-driven social experiences.

What Youll Do:

• Define a multiyear vision for Cantinas web product - a brand new experience for highly skilled prosumer AI creators

• Develop high-fidelity user interfaces and user experience designs for a best in class web product

• Collaborate closely with engineering research and product teams

• Manage multiple ongoing projects & initiatives and effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment

• Help establish a culture and development processes for best in class product design and quality

• Communicate and craft every detail of new product features from idea to user experience to pixel-perfect execution

• Build high fidelity prototypes for flows using Claude Code. These prototypes will serve to guide structure behavior and UX quality. From prototypes partner with engineers on implementation details and hand off

What Youll Bring:

• 5 years of experience as a UI/UX designer with at least 3 years on consumer-facing software applications

• Demonstrated portfolio of shipping amazing experiences that have made a clear and significant impact on consumer and business metrics

• Strong understanding of AI-driven interactions and/or consumer social products

• Ability to prototype and iterate quickly based on user feedback

• Passion for creating engaging player-centric experiences

• Experience with an AI first design workflow including prototyping with Claude Code and Cursor. Examples of vibe coded applications are a plus

Compensation:

The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is between $150000-$220000. When determining compensation a number of factors will be considered including skills experience job scope location and competitive compensation market data.
