Casual Podiatrist Grade 2

Job Description:

• Grade 2 Podiatrist at St Vincents Hospital Melbournes High Risk Foot Service and Podiatry Department

• Casual position work in acute and subacute admitted and non-admitted services

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Grade 2 Podiatrist to join our casual pool supporting services across St Vincents Hospital Melbourne sites (Fitzroy and Kew). This role offers variety and flexibility with shifts allocated based on service demand.

You will bring strong clinical skills in the assessment and management of high-risk foot conditions and be confident working independently across inpatient and outpatient settings. Youll be part of a collaborative inter-idisciplinary team committed to excellence in patient care.

Classifications for this position will range from CM7 -CV8 ($45 - $52 per hour plus 25% casual loading).

Duties

• Deliver high-quality podiatry care including assessment treatment evaluation and discharge planning

• Support safe and effective patient transitions across the continuum of care

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes

• Provide supervision and teaching to undergraduate students

About You

• Registered Podiatrist with AHPRA

• Minimum 2 years experience in an acute and/or subacute hospital setting

• Demonstrated experience in high-risk foot management

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Current Victorian Drivers Licence

• Current National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)

The Podiatry Department and High Risk Foot Service is a week day service delivering comprehensive inter-disciplinary care across acute subacute residential and correctional settings. Services operate across multiple sites including Fitzroy Kew and community-based locations.
