Job Summary
We have an exciting role on offer within our Transport and Infrastructure service as School Crossing Patrol Officer.
If you enjoy working outdoors meeting new people and would like to provide a valuable service to the community then we want to hear from you!
We are looking for a calm reliable enthusiastic School Crossing Patrol Officer to join our team helping to keep children and pedestrians safe on their school journey assisting children and adults across the road on their way to and from school each morning and afternoon during school term times.
You will primarily be serving the school community of Thorntree Primary Academy at the crossing point outside of the school.
An awareness of the Highway Code together with experience of working with children and young people would be advantageous although not essential as full training will be given.
Full uniform including waterproof clothing will be provided.
Please note this is 10 hours per week.
