Site Manager
Responsibilities
- Ensure the project is completed on schedule and within budget by effectively managing risks contracts operations and communications
- Oversee the daily operational and tactical activities on a large-scale site
- Review and monitor key project deliverables across the site
- Apply quality assurance processes in line with company methodology
- Control project scope and proactively mitigate risks
- Participate in Health & Safety meetings with the site team and subcontractors
- Enforce compliance with all Health & Safety policies and procedures on site
- Plan and procure required materials in a timely manner aligned with the project schedule
- Lead the coordination and management of performance and budgets ensuring delivery in line with the agreed contract programme
- Supervise a direct labour workforce
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors
- Collaborate closely with and oversee the site management team
Requirements
- Degree Higher Diploma HETAC qualification or relevant trade experience
- Extensive site management experience particularly in residential projects
- Proven background in residential development (essential)
- Up-to-date knowledge of building regulations and certification standards
- Strong sense of accountability and ownership of tasks and projects
- High level of accuracy attention to detail and a structured approach to work
- Demonstrated leadership ability initiative and self-motivation
