Position is 40 hours/week*
Monday: 9am - 7pm
Tuesday: 9am - 530pm
Wednesday: 8am - 430pm
Thursday: 9am - 7 pm
Friday: 9am - 530pm
Saturday: 9am to noon
*Team rotates responsibilities for eves (Mondays and Thursdays) and Saturdays.
Schedule: 8.5 hour shifts with a lunch. One late weekday shift and Saturday rotation.

WereLooking For:
High School Diploma or GED.
Musthave a medical assistant diploma or 2 years of medical assistant experience or be a certified MA with 2 years of medical assistant experience to qualify.
Phlebotomyskills arepreferred.

As aMedical Assistantyoullplay a vital roleinthe care team supporting providers connecting with patients and helping ensure a seamless compassionate experience every day.
As a key member of the ambulatory care team you will:
Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
Take and record vital signs medical histories and health screenings.
Prepare patients for exams andassistproviders during procedures.
Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
Partner with physicians nurses and teammates to deliver high-quality coordinated care.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Must be able to sit stand walk lift squat bend reach above shoulders and twistfrequentlythroughout the workday.
Must be able to lift and support the weight of 35 pounds in handling patients medical equipment and supplies.
Must be able to: push/pull with 30 lbs. of force and perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with a second person present.
Must have functional speech vision hearing and touch withabilityto use fine hand manipulation skills for IV insertion and other procedures/functions.
Maneuver foot pedals on carts or machines.
Perform physical safety interventions such as patient restraint and verbal de-escalation if needed.
May be exposed to chemical and hazardous waste as well as blood and body fluids and communicable disease. Therefore protective clothing and equipment must bewornas necessary.
Must be able to respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.
