Tenancy Manager Temporary Assignment

Were proud to be partnering with The Salvation Armyto recruit a Tenancy Manager to join their dedicated and compassionate team.

This is an initial temporary assignment with a potentialpathway to a permanent position for the right person.

As a Tenancy Manager youll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of transitional and long-term properties working closely with tenants to support sustainable tenancies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of properties including leases inspections and rent reviews
• Maintaining accurate tenancy records and data
• Managing arrears complaints and tenancy issues in line with policy and legislation
• Supporting tenants with complex needs through a compassionate person-centred approach
• Responding to high-risk situations and working within required timeframes
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders

Youll bring a balance of tenancy management expertise and genuine care for people with the ability to navigate complex situations with professionalism and empathy.

Were looking for:

• Experience in community housing tenancy or property management
• Sound knowledge of tenancy practices (RTA knowledge highly regarded)
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• A calm resilient approach with strong problem-solving capability
• A collaborative mindset and ability to build positive relationships
• Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience

• Current Drivers Licence
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
